“In ages”

Meaning: “a very long time.”

Examples:

“I haven’t seen you in ages!” (I haven’t seen you in a very long time, nice to see you again!)

“I haven’t watched this movie in ages, let’s watch it tonight!” (I haven’t watched this movie in a long time, and I’d like to watch it again, so let’s watch it!)

Conversation Example:

Chris: “Instead of beer tonight, do you want to drink some wine?”

Rebecca: “Sounds good! I haven’t drank wine in ages.”
