This is how you can easily make a reservation to a restaurant over the phone or in person. In the following conversation, we will make a reservation at a restaurant called “Sharaku” over the phone.

Sharaku: Thank you for calling Sharaku, this is Ken speaking, how can I help you?

BMC: Hello, I’d like to make a reservation for next week.

Sharaku: Certainly. What name would you like your reservation under?

BMC: BMC.

Sharaku: What day and time would you like?

BMC: Thursday at 20:00, please.

Sharaku: Okay, and how many people would you like to make the reservation for?

BMC: Four people, please.

Sharaku: Okay, I have a reservation for next Thursday, the 17th at 20:00 for four people under BMC. Is that all correct?

BMC: Yes, that’s correct. Thank you!
