Going to See a Movie

In this blog, we will look at a basic conversation about going out and seeing a movie at a movie theater with friends.

Tom: Hey Mari, do you want to see a movie with me today?

Mary: OK! What were you thinking?

Tom: Hmm… There’s the new action movie with Tom Cruise out. How about that?

Mary: Action? Hmm… To be honest, I don’t really want to see an action movie. Are there any horror movies out right now?

Tom: Huh?!?! Horror movies?! Well, a new splatter movie did just come out last week, so we could go see that, I guess… but I heard it’s pretty grotesque!

Mary: Great! Let’s do that. I love splatter films.
